Sister from a previous litter - Gumdrops. Chris sent me this picture because we were worried Oscar's eyes were getting more and more squinty (insert Asian joke here). The dog looks like a regal Chinese emperor here!
This is Oscar's brother from a previous litter...um... he has the same sleeping method as our boy Oscar.... uncanny.
Both photos courtesy of Gittingers Website: www.bulldogsofnj.com. This blog is also listed until Oscar's page. Yay!Oscar had another set of his DHPP (sp?) shots last week. Since then, all his poopies have been wet and gross, and his farts especially stinky. It was really embarassing when he let out a silent but deadly fart in the presence of Rory and Cathy. In any case, it's been a bit rainy here too, so the wet mooshy poop now stays wet and mooshy (usually it hardens and makes it easier to pick up). Also, Chris' poop picker-upper contraption is really good at picking up wet poop if it's on soil. It digs up the soil too, so nothing wet or mooshy leaks out (ew, gross). Oscar's getting smart, and sometimes, he will position himself on the paved walkway in our backyard, making it harder for Chris to use his contraption to pick up the poop! Which in turn, results in Chris no longer picking up poop (because it's too dark!- ahem)... and making me do poop duty before I leave for work every morning.
This morning was the worst. It had just rained, and Chris warned me on his way out that he didn't pick up any poop last night because it got too dark. By this point, Oscar had already pooped in the morning, so I knew it was a good time to do poop pick up duty. I'm racing around the backyard with FOUR plastic bags picking up the wettest and mushiest poop. Oscar goes quiet. I'm wondering, did he already go inside? NO! He was hiding under a tree, POOPING SOME WET AND MUSHY POOP SOME MORE!!!!!!!!!! I had just thrown out all four bags, and I was done picking up poop for the day.
So honey, please pick it up tonight. It's on soil, so it's easy. Behind the tree that's behind the basement door.
Thanks.
