But, Oscar had never had a bath before, so we thought it was TIME to give him a real good bath.
He was .... okay. He was so in shock of the bath that he didn't even want to eat treats. But I spent a lot of time lathering the shampoon on his back, which he loves, so that calmed him down a little. We finally got him dry, but once we put him down, he was like "Gimme those treats!"
A few hours later, Samson (Sammy came over). Oh my! He's so small! He made Oscar look like a fat monster!
Here Sammy is like "c'mon, smell my butt."
"Whoa, that's a funky butt!" JK. Oscar just wanted to play, but he looks like Cujo here.
"My butt's not stinky!" Sammy yelled back. Just kidding again. I think Sammy didn't like Oscar following him around everywhere and trying to get him to play.
"Oh PLEASEEEEEEEEEEee?!" Oscar, stop being so whiney.
That night, after hours of fun with Sammy, he was like this. Passed out under my arm on the couch. It was the first time in a while that he actually slept on the couch, instead of trying to walk all over me.A few new discoveries over the weekend. His back legs are getting really strong, so now he's confident enough to jump and stand on just his hind legs. Not a good thing! He's begging for food now.
Oscar also has the smelliest farts. We first thought maybe we had stepped on some dog poo. The entire living was clean. Then the smell came back... it was Oscar. Silent but deadly.
We are finally phasing out the puppy chow for good. As of last night, he's 1/2 puppy chow and 1/2 blue buffalo. He's got to be about 20 lbs now... he's huge! 2nd vet appointment is this Thursday, so we can weigh him again. I bet he will be much more awake for this one, unlike the little angel he was last time.
Oh... the good ol' days.
